The use of this website is generally possible without providing personal information. A registration is not required.
Any data that the user provides in the guestbook such as email address is voluntary. A name is required but the user is not required to use his or her real name. Any entries submitted in the guestbook are publicy visible and the user's IP address will be stored. If the user later wishes to have an entry removed, he or she can contact the website owner via email.
My webhoster stores information about site usage such as number of visitors, referrer URL, or web pages visited, which is accessible for 1 year. The visitor's host name is also provided but this is very cryptic information about the top 30 visitors which are mainly web crawlers and google bots and a few IP addresses. Referrer URLs are usually Bing or Google or internet forums. There are also User Agents which look to me like the user's operating system and internet browser, etc. But I'm no expert and I'm not interested in this information. There is also a list of countries where most visitors come from. This information does not allow any conclusions about the user as a person.
